Yorkshire Waldorf Salad
Our take on a Waldorf Salad – fresh and fruity with mellow and full flavours from the Wensleydale Blue Cheese. Our Yorkshire Mayonnaise, or our Plant Based Mayonnaise are perfect partners to carry the flavours for this salad.
INGREDIENTS
3 sticks of celery, sliced
100g red seedless grapes, halved
1 Braeburn apple, cored and diced
3 spring onions, finely sliced
50g walnut pieces, crumbled (optional)
Baby gem lettuce, shredded
150g Wensleydale Blue Cheese, crumbled
3 tbsps Yorkshire Mayonnaise, or give our Plant Based Mayonnaise a try
METHOD
Bring together the salad ingredients in a large bowl. Pop in the Wensleydale Blue Cheese and the mayonnaise and gently fold together to cover the salad ingredients.
Depending on your taste you may want to use a little or less mayonnaise. Serve immediately.
